Billionaires Who Blog
Whenever I hear someone decry the state of blogging, I think about the billionaires who blog from Mark Cuban to Mark Zuckerberg. Their time is worth so much at that level, each blog post could potentially cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to create.
So why do they do it?
And why do they write books or make YouTube videos? There’s almost no money in any of that (~$1 per book sold or fractions of a penny per view on YouTube). It’s mostly cost.
Maybe they understand is that what made them as successful as they are is their ability to form new relationships and learn new things.
So, blog and vlog. Blog like no one is reading and vlog like no one is watching, because they probably aren’t right now. That’s OK. Connecting with one new person or learning one new thing could make it all worth it.
