Turning Mistakes into Ideas

I picked up the book Failed It! on a recommendation from a reader.

It's all about embracing our mistakes and understanding our amateur failures may be better than a professional's successes.

"Dare to be disliked. You might even like it."

This is something my favorite artists embrace.  Artists get bored easily and need to push themselves and their audiences into new and often uncomfortable places. I love this concept.

"When a view is flawless, interrupt it."
"If you want to get noticed, do yourself a favor and stop pursuing perfection, because that's exactly what everyone else is doing. Pursue the imperfect instead."

Preach!
